Tasty ptoduct and a great way to up tge protein fir pksn based golks innthose summer dishes
I just used it for an asian stir fry-delicious. It has a buttery, nutty flavor and seems to absorb the flavors of the dish. Great product.
Like a mini pasta but with great protein (18g and fiber 11g) per serving (1/2C). Glad I tried Boostcous! Enjoying thinking of ways I can incorporate it into my meals frequently for easy protein / fiber. Maybe you could offer a nice mesh strainer option - that would be really convenient. The Boostcous and a nice kinda large (large enough to hold a package of cooked Boostcous) mesh strainer could be a nice gift package. I’d buy it.
Just received our first order and made it with a mixture of fresh mint, feta cheese, garbanzo beans, and a little packet of dried cranberries and sliced almonds that I found in the produce section of my supermarket. I added a little oil to that and voilá - total deliciousness! When my husband and son keep turning to me through the evening and saying, “that was really delicious,“ I know I have a winner! I’m a fan!
I discovered the brand through an Instagram ad. I will say; the marketing got me! I didn’t make it right away and honestly figured it would sit in my cupboard for the next 6 months. Today, I needed a quick lunch and figured I would give it a try. Wow- blown away! The texture and flavor is spot on. I’m a longtime consumer of alternative pasta products and they all tend to land the same (funny aftertaste, weird texture) I nearly ate the entire box before my chicken was finished cooking. 10/10, will be repurchasing.
I rarely do reviews but this product deserves one. I had tried other high protein and gluten free products and was put off by the gritty texture and cardboard taste. When I ordered Boostcous, I frankly expected more of the same. I am happy to admit that this product 110% proved me wrong. This couscous is easy to prepare, has great texture and tastes beyond amazing. I’m not exaggerating. This is my new comfort food.
I love this product! It's simple to whip up and can be added to any salad or sauce. It's always nice to be able to add protein especially as we age. I found this company to have excellent service and product is high quality and easy to use. Thank you for great and continuing customer service. Keep up the good work.My family appreciates you.
Although I didn’t follow directions, I was still able to make something deliciously nutritious. I boiled the BC in chicken stock and then poured it over top of a mound of spinach, garlic, and chopped tomatoes. I tossed it all together, added a little smear of goat cheese and vinaigrette to mix it all together. Delicious and we ate it all week.
So so good. I used this as a base for a curry instead of rice and seasoned it with olive oil and herbs.
Taste: I would choose Boostcous equally to a wheat grain pasta.
Texture: perfect with chew. Not grainy. It is creamy.
Love this product!
I am always looking for a good gluten-free, low carb alternative to couscous and this is it. Very tasty!
My first time I prepared Boostcous was to use it in my homemade chicken soup. I boiled it in water prior to adding it to the soup. It was delicious😋. It was similar to have Anci de Pepe, but without the carbs. I look forward to trying other recipes.
Please continue producing this product so that I and many others can eat this healthier option I wish you much success
Thank you
I love this and so did the friend I served it too. It’s a nice break from rice and it’s a good protein count. It mixes well with a variety of foods and has a little bit of a pasta like texture. I just ordered more boxes. Excellent product!
Love the taste. Love the texture. Love the ease of preparation. I'll definitely purchase again and will recommend it to family and friends.
...and I just finished my first box. I only cook one serving at a time. Each time it was just as enjoyable as any pasta, which translates to being much more enjoyable than any other legume pasta out there. And I have tried the others, with much disappointment. Yea!!!
I'm cooking untalented but even I was able to make these in under ten minutes. Tasted amazing freshly cooked! I saw some reviews saying it didn't hold well in the fridge but I tested mine 2 days later both cold and reheated and they were fine. There was just a small amount that seemed to "disintegrate" but that's because I forgot to stir a small amount of them and they got stuck to the bottom of the pot. Highly recommend for really anyone but especially anyone with gluten sensitivities or vegetarians trying to up their protein intake.
Easy to prepare and I can come up with countless combinations. Friends loved it so much they are buying their own now. Love the high protein. Surprisingly the legumes did not give me any gas or bloat issues. Definitely going to be a new staple for my diet. Eating mainly low carb this offers a great source of fiber I need with the protein.
By my second time making it I nailed the consistency and now we look forward to sprinkling Boostcous into salads, bowls, soups etc. Goes well with a little melted cheese
Boost cous really amped up my cous cous game with a nutritionally rich alternative to standard cous cous. I can add it to any dish or eat it as a standalone meal. It keeps me full and the added protein is a big plus!
Love the product. Love the simple 3 ingredients! Follow the instructions on the box. Rinse. Comes out perfect !!
We’ve been enjoying our order so much, we gave a box to our dear friends who are also healthy eaters.
Our favorite way to serve it is with some sautéed asparagus & garlic in olive oil as a side with salmon.
One of the big attractions for regular couscous is that it is essentially instant. It is really bland though and boostcous has better flavor and texture. That said it takes some minutes to cook and has a tendency to stick to itself and the pan. It’s definitely something different but it doesn’t have anything over other bean based pastas.
Saw an ad on Insta and could not order fast enough! Tried it and liked it! Thanks for creating it!!!
I've just been told to lower my carb intake to bring down my A1C. It was the perfect time to discover Boost Cous! I avoid gluten, as well, so Boost Cous turned out to be a delicious replacement for white rice and rice-based pasta. We will continue to order Boost Cous and make it a staple in our pantry.
