My family is vegetarian with one also gluten free. It has been a challenge to find quality gf products and we have tried more than our share of disappointing options. Boostcous is delicious, the texture is great, it's versatile, easy to prepare... I have only good things to say about this product.
Boostcous has revolutionized our at home eating habits. It is an incredibly versatile product. Great for meal prepping and will keep you full. We also love how clean the product ingredients are. My wife and I have recommended as well as gifted boxes of our own Boostcous to many of our family and friends. Would absolutely recommend!
Was so yummy!!! The texture was perfect and very easy to make. So many versatile recipes and was the perfect protein boost in my dinner!
I'm a huge fan of any plant-based product that helps me hit my protein and fiber goals all in one! It's hard to find something that tastes good, has great macros, AND is vegan all in one. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed!
I am so excited I found this product! I love it! I feel
Like it’s real couscous it holds up well and is soft and fluffy unlike other brands that are gf !
I’ve Ben eating this almost everyday! Great way to boost protein as a vegan! Tastes great plain straight out of the pan or in a bowl or salad!
I’ve been missing couscous since going grain free for cellular health 2 years ago. I’ve found rice and pasta substitutes, but not couscous. Boostcous doesn’t just fill the bill, it is what I would choose first even if I were eating grains. So delish and healthy to boot!! Win-Win!!
I was initially reluctant to try this product because A: It came across my Instagram feed and wanted what I considered to be a ridiculously large order of said product 'to try'. B: While desperately seeking decent gluten free pastas, I have been sorely disappointed. (I'm looking at you gf orzo) But the rinsing part had me intrigued. When the order arrived, all of it sat in my pantry for nearly a month. Until last night. Last night's dinner was a recipe for couscous salad: a combo of cherry tomatoes, cukes, red onion, feta and couscous with a lemony garlic dressing. I made the Boostcous exactly according to directions. I can honestly say that if I didn't already know it was gf, I never would have noticed. This will go into my regular rotation, starting with a savory warm side dish recipe. I'm a believer.
I was excited to try the boostcous product and I have to say it delivered!
I followed the directions exactly. It was quick and easy to make. I make myself 4 salad bowls for my lunch week and add a protein the night before. I used the boostcous as my protein of the day. It was delicious in my salad (with salad dressing) and very filling. I had some leftover and it kept well in the fridge for 3 days.
I will definitely order again.
Thank you for your wonderful product.
It literally only takes 5 minutes to cook Boostcous! Last time I made it, I sautéed onions and peppers in olive oil, then added it to the cooked, rinsed Boostcous. After mixing in a 6.5 oz jar of pesto from Italy and sprinkling with freshly-grated Parmesan, I took it to a small dinner party as a side dish. Everyone gobbled it up and expressed disbelief that it was so tasty despite being low carb. Two people asked for the recipe. So yummy!
I was nervous grabbing the 12 pack as my first purchase but so glad I did! We went through 3 boxes in the first week. As a GF girly I have a hard time finding replacements that taste good & this blew me out of the water. We had it as a side with salmon added a little butter & garlic so good! Added to my greek cucumber tomato salad with chicken for some added protein, so good! Can't wait to try more recipes! Most of my book club is GF too so sent them all the link to order & try too!
I had to go GF about two years ago due to a gastric reaction. Couscous was one of those foods I've missed big time, and it's so nice to have it back. Really easy to cook and incorporate into your recipes, like my fav zucchini meatballs with a feta sauce
Yummiest flavor ! So happy to finally have a GF alternative
So good to sautee onions and add them to the boost cous with chickpeas and butter and salt! Enjoy!!!
I do like the product - make sure you follow directions carefully or it gets gluey, but pricing is confusing. I ordered a box to try, it looked like it didn’t go through so I did it again and ended up with two boxes (1 in each shipment) and paid over $10 for each box. Then it looked like i had to get a subscription if i wanted more at a better price. Then it changed again to single boxes at just under $6, far less than what i paid originally. So tasty product, but odd pricing. And the packaging was misleading - box was about half full.
It’s always exciting when you find a product that solves a problem you’ve been having, and Boostcous did exactly that for me! I had been searching for a gluten free couscous alternative for what felt like forever, and I kept coming up empty handed.
When Boostcous popped up on my feed, I was intrigued but admittedly a little nervous about ordering multiple boxes before trying it. As someone who already loves chickpeas and lentils, I figured it was worth the gamble, and after finishing my first box, I can confidently say I’m hooked!
It is incredibly easy to prepare, has a texture that holds up so much better than I expected, and gives you exactly what you want from couscous: a delicious blank canvas that can be dressed up however you like. I’ve already started incorporating it into my meal prep as a rice alternative, and it has quickly become a staple in my kitchen.
I’m excited to see what other products the Boostcous team creates next and will definitely be ordering again!
Love it. Excellent substitute for rice, pasta, etc. great taste and texture. Add to salads or eat as a side dish.
Delicious. So awesome to have a gf couscous! And it is high protein! Rinse before cooking, cook the full 8 minutes, and rinse after cooking.
As a couscous obsesser I had to give this a shot when I saw the ad. Once I spiced it with toppings and fried veg it was great! My only reservations: it takes much longer than 2 minutes to cook. Its cook time is similar to pasta. 2. It must be seasoned well to enjoy. It’s not like a grain that you can just sprinkle oil and salt on. I turned it into a version of fried rice and it was pretty good. All in all it takes more effort to be a good dish than I expected
So before I was diagnosed with Celiacs disease, I loved cous cous! It was my go to side dish. Boostcous really scratched that itch for me. The texture is great, light kinda fluffy. I have tried other gf cous cous and it feel flat.
The flavor is where I let myself down. I tried the original and like I said the texture is great. I was trying to find the baseline on how much flavor it needs so I only used salt and pepper. It was okay but not enough. Next time I'm going to use more spice, and some veggies in there too. Will be amazing
The product is delicious, easy to prepare, and versatile to use instead of pasta. I had contact with the customer service and they are exceptionally kind and professional. Thank you for reaching out to me.. I look forward to utilizing your product!
